William married Henrietta Augusta Gordon, daughter of William Augustus Gordon and Anna Maria Clarke, on 21 Jun 1808 in St. Thomas', Exeter, Devonshire. Henrietta was born 29 Apr 1779 in Plymouth, Devonshire. She died 11 Feb 1858 in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
